You can download (maybe not now that Wii store is offline?) 4.3E firmware with ModMii and then use DOP-Mii to update offline to 4.3E. Now the updater finished everything except for installing the system menu and it was like this for about 30 minutes: "Attempting to Install system menu 4.2 v481".

As long as you don't have Priiloader blocking updates, you can update right through the system settings. If you have Priiloader and it's blocking updates, you'll have to hold reset while turning on the console, go to menu hacks, and turn off the block updates setting. After the update just go to wii.guide and follow it as if your system never.
